Why a vision board, you ask?

Vision boards can help you organize your thoughts, set goals, and manifest the life you desire. Creating a vision board can help keep your goals at the top of your mind. When life gets hectic, it can help be a visual reminder of what you are working towards.

Recently, I made a vision board of my own. It is filled with photos of goals I have like buying a home, drinking more water, saving more money and exercising more. Whenever I am feeling off-course or when the days get away from me, I utilize my vision board to remind me of the goals I set for myself that I want to achieve in my future.

How to create your vision board

Now that you have an idea of what a vision board is, let’s spend a moment reviewing how to create one. First things first, take a moment to sit down and reflect about goals and dreams you have. Write them down on a piece of paper, prioritize them by importance, and sort them into long-term and short-term goals. This will help you create your vision, but don’t overwhelm yourself. Be as creative as you’d like when putting everything together! Your vision board can be made on poster boards or digitally. Next, start finding photos, words, quotes, etc. that represent the goals you have and get them placed on your vision board. Once this step is complete, it’s time to bring your vision board into reality. One way to do this is by putting it somewhere where you will see it often, like next to your bed or hanging in your office. Then, evaluate your progress along the way. Have you reached any goals? Are you making progress? Lastly, remember that things change, so if any goals need updating or adjusting, this can be a great time to do so.

Do you have goals, dreams and ambitions? Is there a picture in your mind of how you visualize your life in the future? Then creating a vision board may be just what you need.

You may be wondering what a vision board is or how to start, and we’re here to help. A vision board is an intentional collage created by you. It will include things like inspirational photos and motivational quotes or words that represent your goals. These goals can include things to improve your mental, physical, or financial health.
